Kevin Craigie – Physiotherapist
Kevin is an APA titled Sports Physiotherapist having completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from LaTrobe University in 2007 and his Masters of Sports Physiotherapy at LaTrobe University in 2015. Kevin has been with the team at Lifecare Malvern since 2010. Alongside his private work Kevin has been part of the physiotherapy team for Athletics Australia since 2011 and is the current Lead Physiotherapist with the Junior Program, and an Athletics Physiotherapist at the Victorian Institute of Sport. He has been a physiotherapist for the Australian Team at the World Youth and Junior Championships and World Relays Team.
Kevin has a particular interest in running and track and field related injuries and has worked alongside some of the countries best athletes, coaches, and clinicians to develop strategies for injury prevention, training, recovery, and rehabilitation. Within the clinic Kevin runs running technique assessments for injury prevention, rehabilitation, load management, and performance. Additionally he specialises in the management of all lower limb injuries, in particular foot and ankle pathologies.
Outside of working in athletics Kevin also competes in middle distance running events at a national level and is a hobby triathlete.
